Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas

Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas

When you’re looking for an ideal location for a buddy golf trip, sometimes you’re in the mood for a secluded spot where it’s just you, your friends, and the golf courses. Other times, you’re looking for a spot where there is as much to do off the course as there is on.

The Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas definitely falls into the latter category.

Located in Irving, Texas – just minutes from the restaurants, bars, and culture of downtown Dallas – the 5-star Las Colinas resort truly has it all, and more.

Tricked Out

In addition to its two 18-hole championship caliber courses (one is a TPC), Las Colinas offers more than 400 luxury guest rooms, villas, and suites tricked out with everything from private balconies and patios to complimentary WiFi to flat-screen cable TV’s to twice daily housekeeping to deep soaking tubs… the list goes on and on.

But with everything there is to do outside your room, we’re not sure how much time you’ll actually be spending in there.

Beyond the four swimming pools (one of which is 25,000 sq. ft.), 1,500 sq. ft. sand beach, full-service health spa, fitness center, and whirlpool, the resort offers basketball, tennis, racquetball, and squash.

When you’ve worked up an appetite, saddle up at the resort’s signature restaurant LAW (Land, Air, and Water) for a great meal with a distinctively Texas flavor. The restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offers dishes like Wagyu flank steak (land), pan seared pheasant breast (air), and diver scallops (water).

For great Texas craft beers, cocktails, and live music, swing into the OUTLAW Taproom, dedicated to the outlaws of Texas music including Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, and Janis Joplin.

State of the Art Golf

TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas: This par-70, 7,166-yard track, host of the PGA Tour’s Byron Nelson Classic until 2017, was originally designed by Jay Moorish and received a major facelift in 2008 from D.A. Weibring and Steve Wolfard. The redesign was aimed at not only keeping the course challenging for better players but to also make it more enjoyable for the less experienced ones as well.

Cottonwood Valley: The par-71 Robert Trent Jones, Jr. course stretches out to 7,120 yards from the tips and features Bermuda grass fairways, Bentgrass greens, and strategically placed bunkers. Interestingly, Jones Jr. designed the green at No. 1 in the shape of Texas with a bunker in the shape of Oklahoma and a lake that looks like the Gulf of Mexico.

Enjoy a daily round of golf for two, accommodations, use of a golf cart, club storage, daily club cleaning, and use of the practice facilities with the resort’s Golf Package for Two.
