In June of 2020, a one-of-a-kind destination golf tournament will take place on the west coast of Scotland across the links of Royal Troon, Western Gailes and Dundonald Links. The 3rd Annual Heritage Classic presented by Fairways to Heaven Golf brings our unique format and customer experience to this area rich in golf history.
First held in 2018, the Heritage Classic is a tournament that provides an opportunity to come play some of the world’s finest links with someone in your family you share a passion for golf with. As long as you are related by blood, marriage or adoption, you can play in this all-inclusive, limited-field event!
Where You Will Play & Stay
The location for the 2020 event was carefully chosen to provide the very best experience for our attending guests. Royal Troon is one of the most iconic links anywhere in the world and currently part of The Open Championship rota, most recently in 2016 where an epic final round between Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson took place.
Western Gailes, which is a just a 10-minute ride from Royal Troon, is ranked in the top-100 courses outside of the United States and consistently ranks as a favorite of customers visiting the Ayrshire area. Finally, guests will tee it up at Dundonald Links, which in its short history has hosted prestigious events like the Men’s & Women’s Scottish Opens.
Guests will be staying at the award-winning, family-owned Gailes Hotel during the tournament. Situated no more than 10 minutes from any of the golf courses, the Gailes Hotel offers the visiting golfer much more than just great accommodations: multiple dining options, including the recently-opened GG’s Sports Bar, which boasts a golf simulator, a world-class spa, on-site driving range, and traditional Scottish hospitality ensuring a memorable stay.
