Golf For All Levels Of Play

The word Sewailo means “flower world” in the Pascua Yaqui language and Sewailo Golf Club, designed by Notah Begay and Ty Butler. It epitomizes the flower world in every sense with more than 30,000 native plants, flowers and cacti painstakingly placed throughout the 7,400-yard, par-72 course.

The course features five sets of tees making it enjoyable and accessible to all levels of players. It is in pristine condition and exudes a more parkland than desert target-style golf vibe. To that end, Sewailo brings water into play on more than half of its holes and boasts seven lakes and seemingly miles of streams.

One of Begay’s favorite holes, the 155-yard, par-3 third, requires a carry over a lake to a front-sloping multi-tiered green – all while trying not to be distracted by the incredible views of the mountains and the casino in the distance.

Off the course, jump in your rental car and take some time to explore the Tucson area, one rich in history and culture all while providing everything you could ask for including shopping, dining, nightlife, and tons of outdoor activities – did we say tons!

With so many incredible dining choices right at the resort, you’ll be forgiven if your trip passes and you never even leave the property. The PY Steakhouse, a Forbes Travel Guide Four-star rated restaurant, is the feature restaurant dishing up hand-cut meats and fresh seafood, in addition to its house-made liquors. The Festa International Buffet, Ume sushi bar, Tequila Factory, Moby’s, and Abuelitas Taqueria provide other tasty options to fit your mood.  

Casino Del Sol offers some great packages including the Sewailo Golf Club Stay & Play Hotel Package, which offers golfers two rounds of golf for every night you stay at the resort, plus you can upgrade your party to a suite for just a bit more.

The More Fun Golf Hotel Package includes two rounds of golf in addition to dining and beverage credits plus a $120 credit at the golf shop.
