Verdura Resort

Verdura Resort

Go big or go home.

An emphatic phrase that you and your golf buddies will be happily uttering if you plan a getaway to the Vendura Resort in Sicily, Italy.

Sitting on almost one and a half miles of private Mediterranean coastline, the resort has everything to create a truly memorable trip including two Kyle Phillips-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, a nine-hole par-3 course (also Phillips), six clay tennis courts, a full-service spa, infinity pool, incredible restaurants, lively bars, outstanding service, and incredible outdoor spaces and scenery.

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ITALIAN LIVING

The resort’s deluxe guest rooms and suites are not only spacious but also loaded with all the amenities you’d expect. Surrounded by Sicilian-inspired sculptures and flora, rooms feature large terraces, oversized spa-like bathrooms, private courtyards, complimentary WiFi, interactive TV’s, in-room bars, in-room safes, and plush robes and slippers.

After you’ve worked up an appetite, choose from several great restaurants including Zagara (Mediterranean), Amare (Seafood), Liola (Sicilian Trattoria), or Buon Giorno (Breakfast with a View). Not quite ready for a meal? Take your pick from the many great bars and lounges at the resort.

PLAY BY THE SEA, JUST KEEP YOUR BALL OUT OF THE WATER

The East: The par-72, 6,686-yard East Course provides not only memorable views but a memorable golf experience as well featuring relatively generous fairways and large greens.  Early holes feature water hazards before the course turns toward the sea offering dramatic elevation changes and rugged terrain.

The West: The par-72, 6,692-yard West course is a truly entertaining and scenic golf experience tracking along the beachside and an abandoned set of train tracks. The West rewards golfers with a variety of shots at their disposal as it will test all the clubs in your bag. Keeping the ball in play is the key to scoring well here as lost balls are a real possibility if you aren’t keeping it straight.

Vendura, which hosted the 2018 Rocco Forte Sicilian Open, also offers a full practice facility and a nine-hole par-3 course as well.

The resort offers seasonal golf packages that include accommodations, golf, and dining options.
