At a seaside course in South Australia, a novice golfer managed a mighty drive off of the first tee. It
The ball landed and bounced off in rapid succession, a rock outcrop, a fisherman, a tree trunk, the handle of a golf cart and a player on the second tee before it finally dropped onto the green about three inches from the hole.
“Well,” the player exclaimed, “if only I’d hit the damn ball a little bit harder!”
