Donald Trump Looks To Add Miami Gem To Golf Portfolio

Donald Trump already owns the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral. And, now he’s looking to add another Miami gem to his portfolio.

According to reports, Trump sent an unsolicited proposal to Key Biscayne’s Crandon Park for a $10 million renovation to the waterfront property. The proposal also promised to keep greens fees the same as they currently are for Miami-Dade residents.

“Golf is not an essential service,” said Ed Russo, a Trump consultant. “We don’t have all the budgetary restraints the county has… We’re prepared to put in $10 million, with a $5 million reserve, to restore that golf course to its original grandeur.”

Nothing is set in stone yet and there could be issues for Trump due to the fact that the course is currently managed by the county’s park system.
