The number of strokes you receive in your net games will likely change in 2020 as the USGA and R&A officially announced in November that the World Handicap System would be rolled out in 2020.

With the WHS, golfers around the world will have “a unified and more inclusive handicapping system for the first time.” The implementation took place in the United States the first week of January while other countries such as Great Britain and Ireland will implement the updated system later in the year.

SwingU instructor Josh Kelley runs you through some of the key components of the WHS and how it will impact your golf game.
