Ping G irons contain one of the thinnest faces they have ever made utilizing a new heat-treatment process to create what it calls “hyper” 17-4 stainless steel which they claim is 40% stronger than traditional stainless steel. This translates into more distance. It also features a circular structure in the back cavity to increase forgiveness across the face. The result is four times the amount of face deflection compared to their previous G30 irons. Check them out.
