7. Justin Thomas
The beginning of 2017 was dominated by two players: Hideki Matsuyama and Justin Thomas. Coming off of last week’s blow-out victory, Matsuyama is a little bit further up this list, but Thomas’ recent struggles have him on the bottom half of the top-10.
JT’s recent form has been sketchy, but over four rounds at Firestone Country Club, he improved each day and capped off the week with a 67. Another guy who’s game fits the bomber’s paradise that a wet Quail Hollow should favor, JT is licking his chops to be the next breakthrough, first-time major winner.
