This year, each of the FedEx Cup playoff events is worth $9 million. The Northern Trust is the first on the schedule in late August which the top 125 in the standings are eligible to play in. That’s followed by the Dell Technologies Championship (formerly known as the Deutsche Bank). Then comes the BMW Championship, and then the top 30 advance to the Tour Championship played at East Lake. On top of the prize money, the winner of the FedEx Cup also receives a $10 million bonus, which is literally bigger than the majority of the purses on this list.
