This might sound cliche, but when things start going sideways on the golf course, it always helps to slow things down. Being that there’s no such thing as a timeout in golf, it’s important to be able to escape mentally and regroup. Find something that will allow you to refocus so you can take on the next shot. It can be a thought, an object, anything that takes your mind elsewhere even if it’s for a few seconds.
