The reality of the situation is that there is nothing wrong with the 23-year-old Texan; he simply played one of the best seasons in golf history in 2015 and has set himself up against an impossible standard.
Spieth is coming off of a T2 at Colonial and a T13 at Memorial, and as one of the few players who has seen Erin Hills before this year, he has a level of comfort that few others in the field have.
