Pebble Beach is on the bucket list of courses for many serious golfers. Who doesn’t want to play a storied course with the iconic No. 7 Par-3 and other picturesque holes overlooking the Pacific Ocean?
Unlike private courses, of course, the regular golfer can get a tee-time at Pebble, consistently rated the No. 1-public course in the United States. The only thing keeping a mass influx of golfers at Pebble is the cost. It’s $525 per round if you stay at the resort. You can also add a caddie if you wish for a little less than $100 per round.
What do you get besides playing the course that has hosted five U.S. Opens, with the sixth slated for 2019? Check out the painstaking detail on how Pebble Beach staff fixes a divot.
It’s the least the course can do for the cost, but if it is any indication what the rest of the course is managed like, it appears to be well worth the trip.
