John Daly was but a mere junior in high school living in Missouri in 1983. That year, he dug deep and showed glimmers of his future when he won both the Missouri State Championship and Missouri State Amateur. These wins were great foreshadowing for what was to come in the storied career of Daly, who now has 20 professional wins and including two majors.
