9. Travelers Championship
The actual competitive play in this year’s Travelers Championship, hosted in sleepy Cromwell, Connecticut, was fairly predictable for the first three days. Russell Knox won the tournament with consistent play throughout the week and edged Jerry Kelly by one stroke. However, Jim Furyk waited until Sunday to do what some thought was impossible. Furyk carded a 58, becoming the first player on tour to ever record a score that low. We couldn’t keep this historic day off of the list.
