Inspired by some of the most historic courses, The National has gone on to provide inspiration of its own. Opened in the early 1900s this private course has some of the best golf in the state. Though it has never hosted a Major tournament, it has hosted the Walker cup on multiple occasions, and provides a masterful golf experience for those that get the chance to play there.
