6. Ko’olau Golf Club – Kaneohe, Oahu
Ko’olau Golf Club is located in eastern Oahu and is the definition of a tropical paradise. Designed by Dick Nugent, this course encompasses three distinct climate zones and is carved out of a rain forest. It’s also located on the side of a 2,000-foot mountain range, features winding ravines, elevation changes and picturesque views of waterfalls. From the tips, the course is a 7,310 yard par-72, but plays to an astounding slope rating of 152. It’s no surprise some people have deemed it as “The World’s Most Challenging Golf Course.” Check it out.
