One of the backswing nuances that helps produce a fade is more of a laid-off position at the top. When we get set up and I take the club to the top of the backswing, I want to try and make sure I have the sensation that the club is a little bit more laid off. That makes it easier to control the downswing position and stops the club from getting overly under the plane. So really important, if you want to produce a fade, totally fine to be in more of a laid-off position at the top. That’s going to allow you to control the downswing.
