A big part of putting is hitting your ball on the right line, but that’s not a very welcoming thought. A line has the connotation of being very narrow with little room for error. The golf hole is 4.25-inches wide, so there’s more of a path that your ball needs to travel on as opposed to the line. Thinking of your putts traveling down the correct path should help to free up your stroke and lead to making more putts.
