I want to show you a drill to help you cure a hook. When we put this alignment rod in the ground, if I line this impact bag up on this alignment rod, your tendency is you’re going to be hitting this bag and the bag is going to want to go to the left (for left-handed golfers). That’s because your path is too much in to out.
What I want you to do is to set up to this bag, pretend it’s a ball, and I want you to make the bag go to the right. Purposely swing a little outside in and hit a high cut because that’s the opposite of a hook. Doing the opposite is eventually going to get you to where your normal swing hits it pretty straight. Use that drill to get rid of your path issue if you’re to in to out.
