A More Effective Wedge Practice

Using a typical flag on your driving range, determine the distance – in this instance 75 yards – and attempt to hit a shot beyond the flag, short of the flag and then to the flag.

This drill will allow you to develop some feel for the swing needed to hit each of these shots longer at 85 yards, shorter at 65 yards and right at 75 yards. It’s a more effective way to practice using just one distance.
