Let’s talk about distance control. Don’t underestimate the importance of just looking at your target to make sure your brain understands exactly how far away that target is. Spend some time making practice strokes looking at the target. That’s going to give you a feel for how hard to hit it. Then glare down at the hole, hit the ball, and trust the fact that your eyes know exactly how far you need to hit that putt.
