I’ve got a great drill you can practice that’s going to help you to build the proper shape to your backswing and your downswing. I want you to do it really slow and I want you to use a couple of dowl rods.

I’ve got the two dowl rods on the ground that represent the target line and then put another dowel rod in your grip, which is going to make an extra-long golf club. It’s a really good drill to do in slow motion where you get some good references of the shape of your backswing, the shape of your downswing, and then into your follow-through. It’s a really simple idea but very very effective practice.
