Back pins are perfect for a lower-trajectory shot so that you can run the ball back towards the hole. For those shots where you want to run the ball back towards the pin, you want to use more of a sawed-off finish.

Using a nice normal setup with your chest over the ball, we want to take the club back and use our body to rotate through the hitting area, stopping a little shorter in the follow through if you’re trying to keep the ball down even lower. The ball will land on the green without the normal amount of spin on it, allowing for it to chase back towards that back pin position.
