Be Aware Of The Low Point To Hit Better Chips

One of the things that we need to be aware of to hit good solid chips and pitches is where our low point is. An easy way to find our low point is to think “where are my buttons on my shirt pointed?” If there’s a laser beam coming out of my buttons on my shirt, is it pointed behind the ball, in line with the ball, or hopefully maybe a few inches in front of the ball? That’s going to allow you to really release this club head and the back of the wedge the way it was designed. I’m going to feel like my right hips a little bit higher, there’s a little bit more weight on my left leg, and then my shoulders a little more open. That’s going to allow this clubhead to feel like I can release it with my hands, use the bounce, and clip it nicely.
