Golfers young and old alike are always looking for ways that they can create more speed and power in their swings. Using a training aid or just a club, start by swinging with one arm, back and through. This will create more stability in your body. After about 12 swings or whenever you start to feel a slight burning sensation in your arm, switch to the other side and swing with that arm.
Winding as opposed to swaying will help you to develop that body power and control that swaying robs from you. After you do your reps on your other side, swing with both hands on the club. As you continue to swing, get faster and faster.
It’s a nice workout as well — your heart rate goes up, your speed goes up and your stability gets better. It’s a great way to become a stronger and more powerful golfer.
