Fairway woods are often a tricky club to hit. These clubs are low in loft, and still require a downward attack angle to get the ball in the air. In this video, we cover one of the most common flaws I see when hitting this club off the ground.

Most golfers manipulate their setup in an effort to influence the attack angle. However, often times this causes a negative outcome on the swing. Creating a more neutral spine at address can set the stage for the shoulders to turn properly in the backswing, which creates the proper attack angle for the lower lofted clubs off the ground.
