2024 PGA Teacher of the Year Joe Hallett shares a lesson inspired by LPGA legend Ai Miyazato, whose practice routine was admired across the Tour for its tempo and flow.

Before each session, Miyazato began by slowly swinging her driver—sending the ball only about 10 yards—to sync her body and brain. Hallett says this slow-motion start is the perfect way to align your body, calm your mind, and find tempo before you tee off.
