Flighted Shots For Windy Days

 You’re going to need a flighted shot at some point during your round or if it’s windy. There’s an old adage, “when it’s breezy, swing easy.” And that’s the same thing we are going to do for this flighted shot. We’re going to play the ball center to slightly back. You’re going to feel like the club comes in a little bit more shallow. Now the ball is back, the tendency is for the ball to draw so you need to feel like you’re swinging more in front of it with your head and chest in the front. You’re going to feel like the club exists more left and the finish is going to be much lower.

That ball is going to come out nice and flighted, usually about eight yards shorter, so be sure to factor that in. You get that ball coming out really low, you’ll be able to control the flight a lot and control your distances really nicely.
