If your golf ball comes to rest less than two paces off the edge of the green, employ a chipping method to get the ball close to the hole.

Using a one-lever motion, your wrists and elbows are inactive and the swing doesn’t go more than ankle-height back or through. Stand a little closer to the ball with the heel off the ground and the shaft more upward than normal.
