Hit Your Fairway Woods Higher

The first thing you want to think about when trying to hit your fairway woods up in the air is hitting a fade. When you hit a draw, you’re coming from the inside and swing through with a closed face, which means less loft.

Opening your stance with the ball further forward, you’ll increase loft into the ball, which will allow you to hit it higher and have it land softer.
