In order to work on the shaft lean needed when hitting a distance wedge, insert an alignment rod into the butt-end of the club. At address with a little shaft lean, use the rotation of your pivot to keep the club through impact.

You can maintain the shaft lean by simply rotating your body. The alignment rod in the club will give you great feedback to keep you from flipping the club before or after impact, which can affect the consistency of the strike.
