How many times have you had a simple shot, and you blow it? If you stay mad at yourself, you’re going to screw up the next shot. It’s okay to get mad, but give yourself a limit. Give yourself 10 seconds — take a couple of breaths, process what happened, review the shot — or 10 steps. Make sure you’re not mad after your 10 seconds or 10 steps, and make sure you’re ready to hit the most important shot, the next one.
