When you’re playing from a sidehill lie – either above or below your feet – you don’t need to play for massive ball-flight differences. Instead, counteract the lie angle of your club with slight adjustments to your setup. When the ball is above your feet, choke up on the club and open the face to counteract the lie angle; when the ball is below your feet, widen your stance and close the face.
