During the golf swing, we’re not really trying to burst with force, we’re trying to apply consistent force all the way through to the finish. Where you apply that force is incredibly important. Inopportune or inefficient applications of force will result in many of the common swing issues you see and hear about, ie. casting or flipping.
Ideally, you’ll apply force down into the ground from the top of the backswing and at the midpoint of the downswing, you’d like to apply force from the ground up, finishing by throwing that club towards the finish.
Using the club’s natural physics, we want to continue to time and apply force in the most efficient way possible
