I’m going to give you something simple to help your short game and it happens the moment you approach your bag.

When you go to grab your club to play a simple chip shot up to the green, touch that grip very softly. You want soft hands for the shot because you are not coming out of the deep rough where you have to hang onto it tight. Grab it soft so the club is nice and relaxed in your hands and your arms relaxed. Then you can clip it right off the turf.
