This video is a good one to watch to make sure we are not misunderstanding last week’s video. Last week we discussed not having your clubhead whip inside your hands on the takeaway. However, lifting our hands and arms up to start the swing can also be problematic, because then we will end up in a lifted top of the backswing position where more times than not we come over the top and hit a weak slice.
From a good set up position, use the turn of your body to swing your hands (not the clubhead) inside and around the arc all the way to the top of your backswing and get the feeling of the hands being much lower and further behind you! From here a lot of the work is done.
