There are times that, depending on the design of the course or the angle of the shot, you’re faced with blind shots. While you may know where the putting surface is and have done your due diligence to find out where the hole is located, it’s important to find a high aim point that you can see from over the ball. This high target allows you to have a positive target in sight. When you’re looking at the blind shot, all you see is trouble; by having a high target like a tree branch, it’ll help you to send the ball higher with a committed swing to a positive target.
