Rotate Your Hips Properly Through The Ball

When you set up to the ball, put an alignment rod through your belt loops so that you can see right away where your hips are aiming — too left, too right — and get it nice and parallel.

When your club is back over your right shoulder, you want to feel your left shoulder and your left hip go down so that they can clear. Many golfers, when they get to the top of the swing, they pull hard and their left hip goes high and to the right, resulting in getting stuck and a blocked shot out to the right.
