A lot of times, bunkers can be extremely hard and dried out from the sun all day. There are a few things you can do when you get this situation, like create steep or digging angles. The other thing you need to do is make sure the club doesn’t go too far past the ball.

Play with the face open, lean more into your left foot, and feel like you’re taking a lot less swing and then stabbing the leading edge behind the ball.
