We look at ball flight misses a little differently than the normal golf lexicon.
The five categories of misses are: directional (right or left of the target); trajectory (too high or too low); clubface (high, low, heel or toe misses); ground issues (too steep or too shallow); and top issues.
Those five categories, in conjunction with understanding the pluses and minuses of impact, allow us to properly diagnose the different kinds of misses we’re hitting when shots are not struck neutrally.
