People make a lot out of shaping the ball, but it can become very easy once you realize the key is simply alignment. Alignment controls the path.
For example, if you’re aiming right of your target for the right-handed golfer, by moving the ball slightly back in your stance, your natural swing will be coming more in-to-out at impact, producing a draw.
Conversely, to fade the ball, you can move it further forward in your stance, thus producing more of an out-to-in path at impact, which will impart cut spin on the ball.
