Drawing the ball is all about keeping a closed face-to-path relationship, meaning we want to keep our clubs’ mass behind our hand path and the face closed to the swing path. Using a noodle, you can visualize the swing path you would need to create in order to hit your desired shot shape.
The more right of the target you’re swinging, the more draw spin you’re putting onto the ball. Start practicing from the half-way point of the backswing using the two delivery concepts (lead arm inside stance line and rotated/extended wrists). If you can master swinging from hip-height all the way through, you’ll be hitting a nice draw in no time.
