When you’re faced with a breaking uphill putt, you want to visualize the break of the putt different than an even curve. A good image to have in your mind for uphill putts is a fountain — with water shooting straight up before losing speed and curving. The same principle is true for uphill putts — as long as the putt holds it speed, it will go relatively straight — so you need to adjust your aimpoint to reflect a spot to the side of the hole that will allow it to break into the cup as it loses speed.
