Understanding Why You Hit A Pull

A pull shot is a shot that goes left and doesn’t curve a lot. It’s caused by an outside-in swing path with the clubface square to that path. A lot of people get confused in the difference between a pull and a hook. Hooks will always be a ball left of your divot.

Pulls typically result in divots that are a little deeper than usual and more or less on the line your ball travels.
