For a front pin location, we want to try and send the ball in higher so it’s going to land more softly.
I’ve got my 60-degree wedge. Now, from here, I might make a slight adjustment. I might move the ball up fractionally, but I still want that shaft lean.
The next thing I’m going to do – remember, I want the ball coming in higher – so I’m going to make my 11 o’clock swing – 10:30-11 – and now as I come in, I’m going to my full finish.
We’re going to have that sort of 7 out of 10 energy. That’s going to allow the ball to come out slightly higher, land more softly.
Great strategy for a front pin location.
