What I’ve noticed out of bunkers is that most amateur golfers struggle because they don’t keep their center of gravity low. What they do is they swing down and their chest comes up, so they hit the shot fat.

Take your stance with your feet a little wider than shoulder-width apart, put pressure into your lead leg and when you come down, keep your hands lower and swing way left of the target, allowing for a shallow divot and forcing you to stay low through the shot.
