10 Lucrative Tour Pro Business Deals

Golf is more than just a game, it’s a business. From Palmer and Nicklaus to McIlroy and Spieth, here are 10 big-time Tour pro business deals.

Rory McIlroy Signs Multiple $100 Million Endorsements

Rory McIlroy didn’t sign just one deal $100 million deal in 2017. He signed two! First, the four-time major winner extended what feels like a career-long relationship that only started in 2012 with Nike even though they were ducking out of the hard goods business.

The deal meant that he will be wearing the Swoosh for the next 10 years. Oh, and by the way, the deal means Rory can’t have any other advertisers on his apparel, not like he needs them.

“I’ve loved this company since I was a kid,” McIlroy said in a statement, according to the Telegraph. “I’m really happy to continue this journey with Nike.”

Then McIlroy doubled down on an equipment sponsor you know, since he needed one, and signed another $100 million deal with TaylorMade, which includes all 14 clubs, ball, and staff bag.
