The pro-am in golf has been one of the long-standing traditions across all the professional tours. The whole idea is that it gives regular people the opportunity to play with their heroes inside the ropes at a professional tournament. Usually, these occur Wednesday before the official start of the event, however, some tour stops offer four full rounds and a trophy at the end of it. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a great example of this.
While you would think it would be nerve-racking to play along side your idols, you’d be surprised how easy it is for them to bring the best out of you.
