Scottsdale police did not release names of the six dead in the crash and the National Transportation Safety Board is at the scene investigating, according to ABC15 in Arizona.

The TPC remains closed pending investigation. The TPC Scottsdale is home to one of the biggest events on the PGA Tour in the Waste Management Phoenix Open. This past January, the Phoenix Open shattered attendance records by over 60,000 spectators as 719,179 people were on the course that week, an event won by Gary Woodland in a playoff. Phil Mickelsen, who calls Scottsdale home, is also a frequent participant in the event and is a three-time champion. He has played in the tournament 29 times in his career.
